COVID – 19 GROCERY OUTREACH

 So whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God.   1 Corinthians 10:31 (NIV)

Mt. Olivet is grateful to God for being able to participate, along with other community churches, in the COVID -19 Grocery Outreach for Families in Need for the months of May and June. 

The grocery outreach was sponsored by Colleen Fabling, Director of Resurrection Disaster Relief (RDR). 

RDR is a volunteer- based, non-denominational ministry rebuilding homes and lives. Their main purpose is to show the love of Jesus when disaster strikes…..natural, spiritual, physical, mental, or financial.

With financial support from community churches and individuals, the ministry provided over four hundred families with two weeks of free groceries during this time of economic insecurity. 

Nine families in our congregation were among those blessed each time through this act of kindness.
